Winter Break Internships

What is a Winternship?

Winternships are unpaid internship opportunities that take place during the Harvard Winter vacation in the month of January. Winternships can range in length from one to four weeks and be either part-time or full-time.

What is the timeline?

Students begin looking for Winternships in the late fall, so we encourage organizations to submit postings by the end of September. If the organization desires, CPIC will conduct a screening process of applicants and submit recommendations by early October.

What is the cost?

Organizations do not have to offer a stipend to students for Winternships. Most students either remain on campus or participate in Winternships in their home cities. Students are also eligible for funding through CPIC and other Harvard resources.
